4 years ago my wife and I went on our first serious date together at Phara's. They have a BYOB policy so we brought 2 bottles of wine and sat outside to enjoy the atmosphere. We talked for probably two hours and I kept passing on ordering food because I didn't want the night to end learning about her. We finally ordered and couldn't have enjoyed the food any more than we did. It was delicious and being from Texas, unique. Now 4 years later we are married and recently went for our wedding anniversary. It was just as enjoyable and personable as we remember it and I can't recommend this place enough. I hope it comes to mean as much to you as it does to my wife and I.

Every time i go to this restaurant every time i want to go back again. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is a welcoming backyard or beautifully decorated indoors 2 rooms! The service is great! Accommodations are made upon request! The dancers fun and they are an intertainers! Love Phatas!

Phara's is a great place to get good mediterranean food and enjoy a nice evening eating outdoors. I went on a Saturday night and they had belly dancers and music. It's BYOB so don't expect to be able to order a drink, but there's a gas station a block away where you can get beer and cheap wine. The food is great, but the best thing about this place is the atmosphere.

Belly dancing, hookah, amazing food. The atmosphere is what really makes this place. I say you should get a 6 pack or a bottle of wine, had here at like 7:30pm. Dancing starts at 8. Inside or outside. I always sit outside, it's like a little private Oasis. Can't recommend this place enough

This is a wonderful slice of what I imagine old Austin was like. The food is great, the service is great. Not pretentious. Very good value for the quality of food. This place is great for romantic dates, big groups, you can bring your kids. Belly dancer is super fun. Five stars

Great place to bring the family, including children, and watch the Belly Dancers. Yesterday was quite special as Janete Mahaila danced with Alessandra and both were beautiful to watch. The food was also quite good. You get to bring your own wine and enjoy the whole atmosphere. Probably one of the few authentic places left in Austin.

One of my favorite places in Austin. Wednesday - Saturday they have belly dancers. I have even called ahead for friends birthday and they did a private shows for us! My friend loved it. I have seen and talked to Phara almost every time I go too. She is the sweetest lady and just wants to make sure everyone is having a good time. I recommend all my friends to this place - you should definitely try it out!

This place is my favorite for a relaxed fun night out. They have a decent Huka selection, excellent food, and fun belly dancers! This place is BYOB which is nice when you have a large party. You can grab beer or wine for the well stocked gas station across the street.
